   Poet, actor, and singer/songwriter Mike Wade will release   
   a new CD Saturday Aug. 30 at The Ship here in St. John's,   
   Newfoundland, no cover.  He has been described as   
   Newfoundland's crown prince of darkness and has been   
   in rock bands for 30 years and is a pretty good songwriter   
   and has influenced others including Liz Pickard of   
   Lizband.   
      
   The Lizband web site  http://www.lizband.com  has   
   been updated with an account of Liz's exploits   
   in Vancouver and virtual reality, and also in   
   the MP3s section has an MP3 of one song by   
   Mike Wade recorded by Lizband:

   Mike's last CD I think was acoustic but this one   
   will be rocking and he will be backed by the   
   rhythm section from Bung at the release.
