No, my conclusion was that you are a Republican because the current
Electoral College vote favors Republicans. But carry on...

   > You mentioned only the Electoral vote, not the popular vote.
   >I have always been a Libertarian-leaning Republican...no matter *who*
   >is favored in the Electoral vote, (or the popular vote).

Were you a Libertarian, or the member of any other third party you
would find the Electoral College offensive because it guarantees a two
   party monopoly on the process.

   > Personally,
   >I don't *care* about the popular vote when the Presidential race is

   >it is all about respecting tradition.

Versus progress. If you believe in tradition that strongly, leave
Texas, move to Pennsylvania and become Amish.

   >I also abhor anyone who thinks PORK can substitute for BEEF, when grilling
   >barbecue.

When grilling, I agree. When it comes to smoking though, pork is king.

   >Putting beans in chili, should be a felony.

   Agree.

   >Celebrating Veterans Day and Memorial Day on a Monday (just so one can loaf
   >through a "three-day weekend"), as opposed to celebrating it on its REAL
   >day, is an insult to those who served our country.

   Agree.

   >Abolishing Washington's and Lincoln's birthdays, in favor of a generic
   >"President's Day" is a slap in the face.

   Agree.

   >Drinking a dark beer, "ice cold" is an insult to the original brew-meisters.
   >
   >Incorporating "pop/rock" music in the score of a "historical" movie
   >(even if a parody, such as the atrocious "Knight's Tale") should also
   >be a felony...lol.

   >I refuse to give any business to "Kentucky Fried Chicken" now that they
   >refuse to use their real name, and instead use the offensive "hip" KFC.

Have you also boycotted Nissan since they changed their name from
   Datsun?

   >I will never set foot in a Starbucks, as long as they insist on using
   >terms such as "grande" over the traditional "large". It would be different

   >in 1835-1836...but Starbucks is doing it, like Kentucky Fried Chicken,
   >out of "hipness".

I also find Astroturf offensive, and night games in the World Series.
However, I would rather turn on an air conditioner than throw open the
windows on a hot day, carry an ATM card instead of a pocket full of
cash, and listen to CDs rather than records so there you go.

   >(Strange, you call me? Okay...but how many of you on the Left...boycotted
   >companies who advertised on "right wing talk radio"?...lol)

Since I do not listen to right wing talk radio, I cannot tell you who
   the advertisers are.
