From: RustWillNeverSleep@webtv.net              I don't know. I think Eric Clapton didn't do much, and I think the duet       with Paul is by far the worst song on the album, I do really enjoy Elton       John on "How Can We Still Be Dancing?" In fact, I love that song. A       lot of the stuff is really pedestrian. I think there are some real high       points, like the title track and "Saturday Morning In The City." I       actually kind of like "The Waltz." I can't pin point why. I'd rank it       pretty high up with WIlson's solo stuff, probably third next to Smile       and the self titled. Most people bitch about the production on the self       titled, but as far as songwriting was concerned, it's the only one of       the three non-Smile studio solo albums where the melodies were still top       notch. And you gotta love "Rio Grande."              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
