   A Grammy is such a bullshit award these days. I'm not sure if it EVER   
   was a "legitimate" Award (based on merit and quality and art etc.).   
   But it certainly has not been for many years.   
      
   They may decide to "throw old Brian a bone" so to speak, but if they   
   do it will be based on sentiment more likely than their appreciation   
   of the album.   
      
   To quote (or is it a paraphrase?) another rock icon, Frank Zappa,   
   "They wouldn't know good music if it bit them on the ass."
