   No, Brian's spirit is nowhere on this, nor is Carl's or Dennis' or The   
   Younger Bruce's. It's a bad imitation of the real thing, that's what it is.   
   But as most people are yearning for the nostalgic thing, they don't care for   
   music anyway, that's why it went number one.   
      
   It has NOTHING to do with the teen brilliance that was prime BB's circa   
   63-65, let alone the timeless pop genius of Pet Sounds and assorted songs of   
   the years to follow up till something like 74.
