   Maybe Landy is misrepresented in retrospect.   
   I've read Brian's autobiography.  The Beach Boy's seemed to always keep   
   Brian at a distance even when he showed up to gigs and offered suggestions.   
   He says that Landy was always trying to get others to communicate with   
   Brian.   
   Brian admits that he sometimes said that his doctor wouldn't let him only as   
   an excuse   
   without it being true.
