|    Is SMiLE really that good?    |

From: JohnErik66@aol.com              Iv listened to SMiLe so many times I here it in my sleep. Part of the       fascination for me is the fact that it’s the long lost album. The       other fact is it took a lot of listens to appreciate the music. My       brother listened to a few songs, but he’s not a Beach Boys fan. He       didn’t like anything he heard on SMiLE, especially Mrs. O’Leary’s       Cow. My girl friend is a music teacher as well as a classically       trained opera singer. She is a big Beach Boys fan. She listened to       a few songs with out knowing who it was and asked what is this drug       induced music? She also is from the opinion that if SMiLE were that       good in the first place it wouldn’t have been shelved. There maybe       some truth to this because Hero’s and Villains as well as Good       Vibrations was released. Do you think for a minute that Good       Vibrations would have been shelved? Its just to good of a song. I’m       just wondering if we love SMiLe because it’s the long lost album? Or       is it that good?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
