   I saw Brian, Al, and Dave at the Hawthorne dedication on Friday. Dave   
   played his version of Dennis' "You and I" with Billy Hinsche,   
   accompanied by Denny's grandson Matt. Brian did "Surfer Girl" and "In My   
   Room" with his current band. Al gave a very gracious speech, partly   
   directed at Brian. While the three Beach Boys present did not perform   
   together, they did join up to unveil the monument and shoke hands and   
   hugged afterward.   
      
   I went to Dave's concert in Anaheim, which was a lot of fun. Opening act   
   Tripsitter was very good, too.   
      
   Also, Brian made a surprise visit on our tour bus on Sunday.
