   MTV, VH1, and CMT are planning a multi-channel, multi-genre concert special   
   to be broadcast across all 3 networks Saturday, September 10, 2005 from 8 to   
   11 p.m. ET. The show will be a combination of live and taped performances   
   and messages form performers. The concert will feature country, pop, rock,   
   and hip hop artists. All viewers will be encouraged to participate in the   
   relief effort.   
      
   Among the music stars that have already made the decision to participate are   
   Ludacris, Green Day, Gretchen Wilson, Usher, Alicia Keys, John Mellencamp,   
   Dave Matthews Band, Rob Thomas, David Banner, Linkin Park's Chester   
   Bennington, Kanye West, Kelly Clarkson, Rolling Stones, Maroon 5, Good   
   Charlotte, Audioslave, Simple Plan, Common, John Mayer, Kid Rock, Sheryl   
   Crow, Dashboard Confessional, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Brian Wilson,   
   Lynyrd Skynyrd, Melissa Etheridge, Mötley Crüe, Goo Goo Dolls, Staind and
