   I think Pet Sounds and Smile are both pretty heavily over-rated.  I   
   played them a couple times just to be sure, and I don't think I'll   
   ever listen to them again.  I just ripped the few great songs and the   
   rest will just reside on my shelf.   
      
   Another album that's always on peoples' Best All-Time Albums list that   
   I just don't get is Richard and Linda Thompson's "Shoot Out The   
   Lights".  It's not that it's *bad*, but I think it's totally   
   forgettable (matter of fact, I couldn't name a single song on it).  I   
   just don't *get* it - why would anybody single that album out as being   
   good, much less great?  But it frequently appears on "Best Album"   
   lists...
