   Helene J. Kantor, M.A., was a Full Professor of Archaeology in the   
   Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago, and was the leading   
   American excavator in Iran before 1979. When she could no longer go to   
   the field, she basically pined away in her office and died not many   
   years later.
