Sorry, no *new* news about that 'historic' series of sessions. I, too, was
under the impression the GV sessions would be a legitimate Capitol release.
However, I have a copy of the SOT 3 disc Good Vibrations Sessions box set.
It's cool, very interesting and most hard-core BB fans would enjoy it. But,
there are so many "segmented" and "Modular" recordings, that is - large
parts of the disks only contain an 8 bar section over and over - that it's
not something most folks would enjoy in the long run. I've had mine for six
years and only listened to it 3 times. Again, while there's great creativity
and BW's masterful conducting, it's only really exciting the first time. (It
was a revelation when I first listened to it - but the false starts, tuning
problems and general interuptions make for a 'challenging' listen.)

If you haven't heard it, you'll love it. But, *unlike* the PS Box Set - it
really is just a curisoity. (A damn good one! But, it wears thin - fast.)

   Hope this helped,
