|    November 21 Brian Wilson Show    |

From: lincoln@acm.org              I'm listening to the Beatle' Love in 5.1. It's kind of the commercial       version of the "Tuned to a Natural E" series. Sweet.              But still fresh is last night's amazing Brian Wilson show at the Beacon.       Right now there probably many out in the streets humming the tunes after       tonight's show. Darian's back, and Al's now down in front belting them       out. Brian himself gets better and better live, and even will occasionally       improvise. The first long set was a compendium of the best of the complex       intricate songs of the late 60's and early 70's...the fan's hits,       characterized by the usual beautiful vocals and instrumentation by       "the world's best band" B-). Notably striking were a bunch of newly       reworked tight endings. Second set was a masterful Pet Sounds, Brian's       vocals out front, followed by some serious Rock and Roll, and then of       course Love and Mercy.              Gotta Love It. Don't have to Mike it.              chris lincoln (lincoln@acm.org)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
