Nor Townshend, nor Pink Floyd. Ray Davies may be a       genius.              Brian was a genius, and I have been a fan of him for almost 40 years, but       I have discovered a new genius.              Donald Fagan of Steely Dan is a musical genius, for "FM" if nothing else.              I am an accomplished vocalist, and I cannot begin to keep up with the       chord and rhythm changes in "FM," even after hearing it hundreds of       times. They leave me turning right when the band turns left, with liberal       use of the magical "Steely Dan chord" that they invented.              I will always love Brian Wilson and his accomplishments, but "FM" may be       the best rock and roll record ever made.              Go back to school - you can't even spell "bollocks" properly.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
