   I don't know - I'm confused given all the stories etc that have circulated   
   re this song.   
      
   I'm unsure if the version on Smiley Smile (which I always considered to be   
   the version) was the definitive, but I'm confused if the SS version was a   
   rerecording (in the Laurel Canyon? pool as it were)of the single  astrologer   
   green lit by the astrologer.   
      
   Eg, the vocals and arrangements on the SS version aren't as confident,   
   agressive or sweeping as those on the bonus type mixes that have popped up   
   on the twofers and the box set etc, + the SS single has the   
   beginings/displays of some of the post smile minimalism (vocals + one note   
   on the organ) not present on pet sounds and smile.  This is not to say   
   they're not heartfelt, intricate and executed beautifully.   
      
   In my lowly opinion anyway...   
      
   In the meantime, I'll ferret around on Andrew Doe's site to see if there's
