   I just got the DVD of A Mighty Wind.   
      
   Does anybody else see the Mike Love reference in the Manager of The New   
   Main Street Singers.  Fred Willard play him so "Mike Love" like, it's   
   scary....   
      
   Things I noticed:   
   When he's first introduced you get a shock as his name is Mike   
   Lafontaine - sounds like Mike Love for a while.   
      
   His mannerisms - ie a complete turkey who hogs the limelight and is   
   constantly mentioning his past glories...   
      
   He even does that dreadful ML bit when he talks about the old days and   
   mumbles into his hand when he mentions the date ( and then laughs at his   
   own joke...)  ie We did that in nineteen (hand goes over mouth)  sixty   
   blah blah   
      
      
      
      
   Maybe it's just me - I'm now seeing Mike Love even when he's not there.   
   Time for my meds????
