From: spammandeggs@yahoo.com              Like most of you, I have been waiting for Smile for 37 years. I have the       boots of recent concerts, I have SOT, I have Smile Project, and I have       tickets to the tour. Obviously, unless Brian turned Smile into GIOMH, I was       going to like it. But how would a 16 year old daughter and a 30 year old       employee like it?              My daughter is a lot like me in that she likes strong melodies, but she also       likes the current alt rock scene. No Britney for her. Well, she was blown       away! She even listened to it on headphones and it will soon be on her       iPod. That's a pretty good indicator that someone who doesn't know the       Smile myth and hype could love the music.              My 30 year old employee is a music buff as well, listening to everything       from Pat Metheny to Bruddah IZ. Not a Beach Boy fan. I played it for him       in my car (great sound system) and he was also blown away. His comment:       "It is so great to hear someone who is totally into being creative and       artistic" and said it is unlike anything he has heard - and he liked it!              Keep sharing Smile! Maybe Brian is finally made for these times.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
