   I just listened to the old Cabinessence and the new one back to back.   
   And then tried to sequence Wonderful, Look, Child Is Father to the Man   
   and Surf's Up to compare them with the  SMiLE versions.  There's no   
   comparison. The new version is better.  The old stuff sounds like limp   
   demo tapes compared to it.  The excitement of people who genuinely   
   love what they're doing shows through in every note, as compared to   
   the "this guy is crazy" feeling that pervades the "original" version.
