   I disagree. I just downloaded a version of "Smile" that is from the   
   best unreleased takes, the exact same song line-up as the new "Smile",   
   only by the Beach Boys. Both are good. But I strongly prefer the new   
   one. It just flows better, has a better "feel" to it, a "completeness"   
   that the other one does not have, even though they are all the same   
   arrangements. I will grant you that SOME - not all - of the vocals are   
   better on the BB version. But the new Wilson recording has much more   
   "heart"! And is, thus, along with better recording technology, the   
   better of the two.
