|    Neil Peart's Admiration for Roger Waters    |

From: joemahoney1950@gmail.com              My fellow tasters of the Trumpian truffle; my fellow fans of the florid       fungus. Today's sermon concerns our favorite ID-theorist drummer's admiration       for the another man associated with a rather unusual color: Roger Waters. Of       PINK Floyd. (RW must be        kicking himself for not calling his band the Florida Gold Floyd!)              Now, if you'll take out your dog-eared, Bud-Lite stained, and pizza sauced       newspaper clippings (today, we prefer Fox News) of Neil Peart articles, you'll       quickly be reminded that Neil was an enormous admirer of Pink Floyd founder       Roger Waters.               But it's not Waters' bass playing that Neil invokes. Or his vocals. Or his       lyrics. Rather, it's Waters' gift as a VISIONARY that Neil is so enamored       with.              What, pray (down on your knees -- now!), ARE Waters' visions?               There's Animals, about Waters' Bible-driven belief about man's (and man's       alone -- no women allowed here!) dominion over animals, and his        onstitution-guaranteed right to massive arsenals of rifles, handguns, AK-47s,       etc, with which to slaughter these        beasts as well as dusky-skinned invaders.              There's Dark Side of the Moon, about Aliens,              There's Wish You Were Here, created while Trump was not yet a world-class       Biblical scholar or the most popular president ever or even a TV personality       -- but how Waters was yearning -- WISHING -- for Trump's presence!               And then, the band's piece de resistance, THE WALL. This is Waters' epiphany,       his vision that so named Neil Peart. Waters' extrasensory image of a       magnificent wall, to keep out those tortilla truck driving, taco-bending       bastards!               And that is the basis for Neil's love of Roger Waters.              You may return now to prepping, my congregants.              As always, spiritual not religious,              Joe "Large and In Charge" M.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
