   People who haven't read Rush's post-70s lyrics, interviews, or Neil's books   
   are locked into this idea that Rush are Ayn Rand disciples.  This is how they   
   excuse their idea that they are right wing, Fox News-watching band.  Ted   
   Nugent with better    
   musicianship.  In fact they've been making it clear that Ayn Rand was just an   
   infantile stage for Neil - as she is for most people, who are briefly enamored   
   with "Anthem" or "Atlas Shrugged" as kids.
