   It is funny you asked about Vanguard Dividend Fund it was in our local   
   money section  paper yesterday ...This fund is stable ...   
      
      Last ten years it has been UP  3 % --- 5 %  and  3 % .......They just   
   broke up a ten year period and i have been in it for 7 or  8 years.   
   I have  I,800 shares  at I4 $ range .....   
   Ticker symbol is  VDIGX ,,,   
   my energy fund symbol is VGENX , i have 560 shares ...I will be in both   
   for many more years..   
     Dividend fund has been stable ....My energy fund is very volatile ...I   
   belive BOTH are  a good long term holds ,,,,BOTH are ROTH IRA's too..   
      
   Will put some more money down on computer Thursday ....getting closer to   
   having it in my house ...
