   1959?!? Wow, that long ago.... ah, age. You are right, it is a fantastic   
   read! I remember reading Geoffrey Jenkins when I was growing up (in Cape   
   Town), and eagerly awaiting new books. I see from his Wikipedia entry he   
   passed away in 2001, when I had already moved to Japan. Rest in peace,   
   Mr. Jenkins, you've given a lot of us fine memories of your works!
