   A high number for Signal over Noise would be a good thing.  A high Noise to   
   Signal ratio, or a low Signal to Noise ratio... those are the baddies.   
      
   Anyhow, amping up the amount of time spent here will bring the ratio back   
   into balance.  Staying away makes it worse.
