I had a somewhat similar experience a few years       ago. In my business, nothing kills like success. F'real. Two colleagues,       both in the $1,000,000+/year category have dropped in their tracks. The       first one was 44 and developed some weird blood disease that only kills like       .8 percent of it's victims. Killed him. While driving. The second one,       39, ushered in his second child and six days later died of a heart attack.       The guy was meaty, but certainly not fat. After that second funeral I       started developing chest pains every fucking morning. So I researched it       and found that most heart attacks occur in the morning. In winter. Now I       was really freaking out. So I'm sitting in a restaurant and *bam* passed       out. Ambulance and everything. Anxiety attack. But it was enough to get       me pretty much organic and two thirds vegetarian (only eat flesh during the       evening hours and only ingest red meat once or twice a month now). Lost       twenty five pounds damn quick too. Just the ambulance was $1100. I won't       go in to how much the scans, ekg's, etc. cost, but it made the eleven       hundred up front seem like foreplay for the anal rape of the decade.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
