   In the beginning Led Zep would have been the obvious answer (to the question   
   of what other bands a typical Rush fan might like).   
      
   In the later 70s, the answers might have been Yes or Pink Floyd.   
      
   In the early-to-mid 80s, maybe The Police or U2.   
      
   In the late 90s, people were comparing Tool (ugh!) and Dream Theater (ugh - in   
   a different way) to Rush.   
      
   Today I don't know that there are any obvious answers.  Play Rush's last two   
   or three records, and I for one don't "flash" on any one artist as being   
   similar.   
      
   I love Clockwork Angels though.
