   Well, to me, "wannabe jazz" suggests that it's music that   
   tries to be jazz, but doesn't cut it.  B&F will themselves   
   say they aren't writing jazz songs, nor are they trying to.   
     No, they're writing pop songs that are often heavily   
   influenced (harmonically) by jazz, and that often have jazz   
   solos.
