   On the subject of 70s tunes, there was a song by the band "Player"   
   that had an EXTREMELY Dan-esque verse section. I believe this song was   
   called "This Time I'm In It For Love". Even the vocals sounded very   
   Fageny.   
      
   Once it kicks into the chorus, of course, all bets are off, as the   
   song decays into standard pop poop. But it was good while it lasted.   
      
   Does anyone rock/roll/remember?
