   Yeah, I paid $336, all told, for a pair of so-so seats at the Beacon in   
   June.  Comparitively, the Jones Beach ticket prices for the past few Dan   
   tours have been somewhat less extortionate.  I've heard horror stories of   
   the cash folks shelled out to see the Stones last year.  Back in "the day" I   
   paid MUCH less to scalpers to see big acts at the Garden.  Maybe all of   
   these acts are padding their impending retirement.  Who knows?  But then   
   again look at it this way, it's similar to real estate; the prices are worth   
   as much as people are willing to pay for them.
