Actually (I really hate to say this) I kind of agree with you on a few
points here. I spent a shitload of money this time around to see them at
the Beacon in NYC. I saw the past two tours at Jones Beach, and I loved
both shows. I paid half as much to see them (and got better seats) than at
   the Beacon.
Apart from the loud rat-bastards drinking Jack Daniels out of cheesy
plastic cups sitting (well, standing) in front of me and the two bimbi with
incontinence issues sitting a few seats over, I was hoping that the band
would have something new to say live. Nope. Pretty much the same setlist
as the the previous two tours. I really liked the band; Carlock just blows
me away every time I see him and the horn section is fantastic, but I saw it
all last year, and maybe they were more into it then. They did have an
interesting warm up act, but they got on stage too late and played a bit too
   long.
When we left, (during the same encore as last time) I asked my bride "Ever
get the feeling you've been cheated?". I never EVER thought I'd say that
about Steely Dan, much less rip of the Sex Pistols to get the quote.
