   Bands rarely sound "better" live.  Nearly everyone falls well short.   
   Now, there is an increased entertainment value to live music if they   
   play things different like varied riffs, songs they haven't recorded,   
   covers, etc.  If you're lucky, the accoustics are better than your   
   living room but you're not going to find that except in rare venues.   
   I've been in a total of ONE venue where I could say that, and that   
   was the Strathmore Center in DC.  To say live is "better music" is   
   just more music snobbery hooey.
