It's a pretty good album by normal poptone standards. I think it would   
   have benefitted from being recorded after the rehearsals and  tour. I   
   trust everyone has a soundboard bootleg of that tour*; check out   
   "Brite Nightgown" on there - the ending has a repeated stop-time   
   section that really adds some needed tension/release.   
      
   I really like the title cut and was quite disappointed he didn't play   
   it live. (See also: "Everything Must Go"). The Ray homage, not so   
   much.
