   After 35 years of waiting for me, Steely Dan is FINALLY coming to   
   Montreal - as part of the 2008 Montreal International Jazz Festival -   
   July 1 and 2.   
      
   I scored my tix, and can't believe I'm finally gonna see the boys! I   
   can't wait!   
      
   I've been e-mailing them for years to tell them they need to come here,   
   so when I got the e-mail from the web site, I did a double-take, cause I   
   thought it was addressed to me.   
      
   Montreal and the Dan is a natural. A city with sophisticated musical   
   tastes, incredibly enthusiastic audiences (best I've seen anywhere), and   
   let's not forget the French factor: I can just see the crowd going wild   
   when they sing "voulez, voulez, voulez-vous" (or whatever other of the   
   francicisms they love to use). I think the boys are gonna to be very   
   pleasantly surprised at the reception they get and wonder, as I have,   
   what the heck took'em so long!
