   That my friend is a Synth string (possibly an ARP AXXE) routed though a   
   Phase Shifter set to "kill".   
      
   I used to own a MUtron Phase shifter for my guitar. -wish I'd never sold it.   
      
   This was a 70's sound. You heard it before and after commercial breaks   
   in Wonder Woman and Charlie's Angels. (To get you in the mood...as it were)   
      
   I now use a Line 6 Modulation Modulator that has a phase shifter on it.   
   but its not as kool as the MUtron was.
