   Actually, I think most of the LC demographics,   
   perhaps the demos of any pop artist, would   
   PREFER nerdness over non-nerd.   
      
   Would people prefer that Cohen were a   
   cub scout leader instead of a buddhist monk?   
      
   I'm not sure that "Buddhist monk" denotes   
   nerdness but it certainly denotes "out of the   
   mainstream".   
      
   We tend to want our pop stars to be weirdos.   
      
   The alternative is perhaps John Daker.
