   Well Dan,   
      
   it's been a while in deed.    
   Newsgroups have been sliding out of fashion, I am afraid.   
      
   Recently, I talked with friends about the lively discussions we used to have   
   in this newsgroup.   
   People were staring at me in wonder what I am talking about. Newsgroups?   
   What's that?    
   I didn't even remember that newsgroups where the channels before Facebook and   
   similar.    
      
   Also, just as you mentioned, the tone in those other channels is far from what   
   we had established around here in the late 90ies and around the release of   
   2vN.    
      
   I made a resolution for this year - to come back to the newsgroup at least   
   once per month and check out what's happening.    
   So, stay tuned.
