From: moiraine_sedai@nospam.yahoo.com              I'm not sure that you need Total Recorder. It all depends on what       capabilities you have with Nero Media Player and Recorder. This is how       I do it with Total Recorder....              Whatever audio is playing on your computer (sound card), whether it be a       radio stream, a CD, or DVD, Total Recorder records whatever it is as a       WAV file. So I ended up with one very long and very large WAV file of       the show. When I play it back through Total Recorder I have the ability       to set beginnings and ends of "selections". So, for instance, at the       beginning of What I Do, I click on "Edit", "Selection", "Set Beginning       of Selection", and I stop it at the end of the song, click on "Edit",       "Selection", "Set End of Selection", and then I click on "File", "Save       Selection As", and name and save that portion of the stream, and so on       for the rest of the stream. Then I use an audio converter program to       convert the individual WAV selections into individual MP3s. The free       version of Total Recorder has limited capabilities. I use the "pay for"       version ($12.00, IIRC - worth every penny IMO), but I'm sure there are       similar programs out there that are totally free with similar features.       I would venture to guess that you may even have all these features in       Nero.              Let me know if you need any more help!       Mo              diane wrote:       > Yeah, I was surprised to hear others in the Green Room last night       > mention that even though they were on high-speed connections, there       > were still gaps where the signal was buffering.       >       > I'm downloading Total Recorder now, but will this be one of those       > trials where only 80 percent of the file is converted unless you buy       > the full version?
