"Modal meanderings" - very nice. I agree with your post. Walter has       ripped off (or more likely, patched together) some killer studio       solos, esp. on Aja, but lately just kind of wanders around, throwing       in an occasional scale. I'm not nuts about that splanky tone of his       either. But I love ya just the same, Walt!              I've been listening to the boot of the Philly show, and it confirms       what I posted after I attended, that the soloing was very tentative,       especially on the part of the guitarists. Krantz impressed me, but       mainly because I really disliked his work on the 2000 tour. He's       improved.              Those two were also incredibly boring to watch. It's a rock show,       guys; move around a little, try to act like you're having fun. I don't       think either of them moved 6 inches between the start and end of the       show; shoe-gazer both.              Flame me, but I miss Drew Zingg.                     On Mon, 20 Mar 2006 22:47:12 -0500, Frank D.
