   Maxine is IMHO a great composition.   
   The way chords waltz around what it's all about in the end: Gmaj.   
   The stepping up in the middle.   
   Nothing bluntly repeated.   
   And when you hear a repeat coming he just takes another swirl.   
   It sounds so simple because it's so natural but it is very clever.   
   I can imagine it is kind of dangerous to put this piece on the setlist,   
   because they have to be totally relaxed and still in close harmony.   
   Also it shows painfully a quality DF never quite reached again.   
   Although Deacon Blues comes close, and maybe The night belongs to Mona.   
   Or did I miss something?
