From: regenton3.nospam@telenet.be              Hello ,              Part two of the discussion on the CD Morph the Cat.              Initially, this track, H gang, got 5 /10 (score I gave at second       listening, two months ago) ; . I'm surprised about myself that I only gave 5       at first. Apparently, it was perceived as "almost unsatisfactory...".       Now it's 7/10. Which is good, but not really excellent.              This one is really is "sympathetic", fluid rhythm, sounds quite "full"       particularly in the beginning ; but nothing overwhelming.              Nice elements are        - the "wawa" guitar including its solo ; it reminds me somewhat of the       guitar in        East St. Louis Toodle-OO, especially in high notes. But that is a song       of decadeS ago        - the chorus is very good, the vocal arrangement is not crappy at all.       It is a wonderful illustration of complex chords - but not TOO jazzy. In my       opinion, however, backing vocals all sung by the same person, which is DF       himself here, lack some richness, some diversity of sound. Any comments ?        - the sax solo, OK              Your comments are welcome.              R-ton              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
