From: regenton3.nospam@telenet.be              Hello,       My scores :        at first listening : 6/10        now : 8/10, a significant improvement !              This song has a slow, but very strong rhythm. I reminds me of "Deacon       Blues".              The chords are a lesson in advanced dissonant, jazzy chords ; listen       to the intro and the chorus...              Somewhat strange are the temporary unisone fragments.              THE negative point of this track is the muted trumpet solo :        - it starts as if there were no inspiration at all        (6 or 7 x some descending scale)        - it is sometimes out of tune       It's hard to believe that this solo is in accordance with normal "DF"       standards.       And, very little chance you remember this, I don't like the muted       trumpet sound at all, see "Morph the cat".              But any way, at the end of the song, a demonstration of a really excellent       solo on guitar is given.              Small detail : I like the triangle in the chorus... And the "sliding guitar"       in the background at 6:49.                     Conclusion : a very good song. Would have deserved an even better score       without       the trumpet solo.              Any comments ?              R-ton              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
