   Before Duane died, I'd say they were on a similar (not identical of   
   course) path, musically speaking. Duane was the man. Everytime I   
   listen to the Filmore East album, I can't help but wonder what would   
   have happend if he and Berry would have stuck around a little longer.   
      
   The musical genius behind Hot 'lanta and Dicky's Elizabeth Reed, is   
   right up there on a Steely Dan level... if yah ask me. But hey, what   
   do I know, right?
