   OK, I'll bite.  I nominate White Stripes.  Two (well, one and a quarter)   
    musicians; really simplistic chord progressions; really minimal production.   
     But great groove and great vibe.   
      
   And, speaking of didge "stuff", Lights in a Fat City is pretty interesting   
   (albeit one-take) stuff, as well as Outback.
