From: regenton3.nospam@telenet.be              Hello,              At first listening it got 7 /10. Now it's only 6/10 !       (I give the new scores without knowing the old one).       I think I will not give any lower score for the tracks on this CD ...              There's not much adventure in this track, nothing very special              The song could have been stronger by one of the following       (not that I know it any better than DF himself of course)        - somewhat faster rhythm        - a bridge with some new idea in it, perhaps inspired on the bass/guitar        ideas introduced in the very last seconds of the track        - a stronger organ solo (now it's rather a lesson in advanced chords       again) at the end;        however the solo ENDS in a more adventurious way              However the guitar solo in this track is a very nice one ; it is the best       part of the song ;       just a pity that is somewhat spoiled by that kind of shouting at the       beginning              I don't give much criticism on texts here (being non-native) but the chorus       "I love love love you" is not a break-through new idea.              The handclaps at the end bring some more adventure in the song at the end.       Four people are needed for that...              And personally , I don't like some much the "sus4" chords at the intro.              6/10 : it's still OK ; I don't skip the track while listening.                     Any comments ??              R-ton              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
