   Freddie Washington is playing bass for them now.  Tom Barney   
   is a great player, but IMO, this Carlock/Washington rhythm   
   section comes closest to capturing the various feels of the   
   various rhythm sections on the records.   
      
   This tour's awful live sound being what it is, from what I   
   could tell, Freddie was copping a lot of the Rainey parts   
   and techniques.
