He is simply observing that the charters of the       newsgroups do in fact describe the subject matter of the newsgroups and that       people should learn the meanings before posting inappropriate material. Of       course we all know there are many people who are too stupid to understand what       archaeology and physics and astronomy cover as sciences. There is likely no       hope       for them as they are committed to imposing their religious claptrap on       everyone.               It is a cruel thing to do but as they follow the only god who ever demanded       war       and genocide and genital mutilation and a ritual/taboo lifestyle which if       violated brought arbitrary and capricious punishment upon his cowering       worshipers one can see why they emulate such barbaric cruelty.              > Yet, in reality, ALL men are Created equal. And the *especially*       > good news is the gospel of Christ-crucified: so the end of this       > murderously angry, Rabidly-insane, Anti-Christian world is near. :)               As a matter of fact it takes little but cursory inspection to observe the       Christianity which appeared in the 3rd c. AD used Jesus for little more than a       hood ornament, a trademark, for an otherwise unrelated religion.               Jesus said he came to set brother against brother, not to bring peace but the       sword. If he also said all men are brothers the other teaching takes on a new       and terrible meaning. Fortunately his preachings were not adopted as the basis       for the religion.               In any event it is all a delusion as the Jews do not appear in history until       the 2nd c. BC putting the invention of the religion and it imaginary history no       earlier than that.               So the real question is why people in the late 3rd or early 2nd c. BC chose to       invent a creation myth in the first place. And as we can read in Genesis 2,       they       were expelled from Eden to prevent them from becoming gods. It is unclear who       invented original sin or why but it is certainly not found in Genesis.               So as we have the almost recent creation of Genesis and the selective reading       of what it central to Christianity it is unclear how believers can ignore Adam       and Eve being prevented from becoming gods and at the same time latch onto an       obvious fairytale of creation invented at the same time as the Eden story.               You can search groups.google.com and find all the background on the       non-existence of biblical Israel as it is just another part of the invented       story. The OT is no different from the Koran or Dianetics or the Book of Mormon       when it comes to invention.              --       As the Jim Crow laws in the US were many, many times worse than the       Nuremberg Laws in Germany, what are they whining about?        -- The Iron Webmaster, 3800        nizkor http://www.giwersworld.org/nizkook/nizkook.phtml        environmentalism http://www.giwersworld.org/environment/aehb.phtml a9              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
