   Are you sure it was Greek mythology that the story came from? I'm not   
   familiar with it, which points to it being from other mythologies (or points   
   to early-onset dementia in me).   
      
   It isn't the answer I'd give a generous god, though. If I was granted one   
   wish, it would be that all my future wishes would come true without causing   
   any harm to me or mine. And if it were to be a modern-world money-wish, it   
   would be that my bank account would always have in it $1.00 more than I   
   need. That's greedy enough, I think.
