4c67aaf3       XPost: alt.religion.hindu, alt.religion.vaisnava, soc.culture.indian       XPost: alt.religion.jain       From: dalton@nfld.com              I thought I read once that Krishna is said to have had the ability to change       shape and size, from the very small to the very large, but I couldn’t find       anything on this in some quick google searches. Follow up if you know or an       online or book reference on this, even a pointer to a particular verse of the       Bhagavad Gita.              My interpretation of this ability is that it is the same as my ability of       soul alignment, such that I am able to align my soul with any other someone,       and then temporarily we share the same soul. Thus I refer to myself as an       avatar type-2, whereas an avatar type-1 is permanently aligned with a higher       someone and remains part of that higher someone after death.              But note that I am also able to facilitate the temporary soul alignment of       two other someones, which might be useful when someone has to represent a       deity in a ritual. And for example I have facilitated the alignment of our       black and white cat Sam a while ago with Orca, the species someone of the       orca species, and that has not clicked out yet.              --       David Dalton dalton@nfld.com http://www.nfld.com/~dalton (home page)       http://www.nfld.com/~dalton/dtales.html Salmon on the Thorns (mystic page)       “I'm sick of sitting 'round here trying to write this book       I need a love reaction/Come on now baby gimme just one look" (B.S.)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
