Homer, in his "Illiad", usually refers to the son of Priam and Hecuba who
abducted Helen as Alexandros, although he is also called Paris. The
character is also called Alexandros by Sophocles and by Euripides in their
   respective plays.

According to Homer, Priam's principal wife was Hecuba, although he had
other wives and concubines. In total he had fifty sons (Illiad 24.495)
including Hector, Paris (Alexandros), Deiphobus, Helenus, Troilus,
Polydorus and Lycaon. Also daughters, of whom Homer only mentions
   Cassandra.
