|    OT - Tomb Raider Question    |
|    08 Aug 04 22:33:34    |
From: Bran_britain@yahoo.com              Time to finally delurk & ask an off-topic question.              Watching the Tomb Raider movie this weekend. Strange movie - some movies are       interesting on the surface but have no depth. Tomb Raider is garbage on the       surface but has these obscure things buried within the movie. e.g. when Lara       has got the first part of the triangle & phone home, I did recognise that       her techie guy is watching The Clangers - very cool 30-year old British       puppet Sci-fi kids program. long Live the Soup Dragon !              But my question - Lara has a memorial to her father outside the house under       a tent. Does anyone know which (real life) relatively obscure British       explorer actually has a grave/crypt in the shape of an old-style expedition       tent ? I've seen it one, but can't for the life of me remember who & it'll       bug me until I find out.              Hope someone can help.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
